Year 3 Curriculum Overview (Spring Term)
In Spring Term, we will be focussing on two diverse themes: Social Justice and STEM.
Our Social Justice theme for this year is Refugees, in many of our lessons this will be our central theme. We will be reading Christophe’s Story and Coming to England, to enhance our understanding of how people’s lives in other countries may differ to ours.
In Spring 2, we will be building on the work of Spring 1 and our knowledge of diversity and equality, through the text The Iron Man. This will link to our DT project, where we will explore and build mechanisms.
During the second spring half term, we will be preparing for and leading an Easter Service in Church.
