We will be studying West Kirby and the
neighbouring places. We will also be looking at why West Kirby is a
peninsula and identifying the waters that surround us, as well as having a
focus on geographical language. Alongside this, we will be looking at the
physical and human features of West Kirby and creating basic key maps to
show these.

In history we will research how has our school has changed throughout
the years and identify things that are the same and different for St
Bridget’s pupils from now and in the past.
As part of our science topic ‘plants’ we will be visiting Ness Botanic
Gardens, where the children can share their knowledge and enjoy
learning and finding out new things.
